Dr. Steven Morris is an Internal Medicine physician with more than four decades of clinical experience across a wide range of medical settings and specialties. His background includes work in Cardiology, Nephrology, Oncology, Infectious Disease, and Addiction Medicine, giving him a broad and practical view of complex patient care.In addition to Internal Medicine, Dr. Morris has practiced in Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, Psychotherapy, and Addiction Medicine. He has worked in academic, urban, suburban, and rural environments, which has given him deep insight into how healthcare systems function—and where they often fall short for patients and families. Dr. Morris earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine.Over the course of his career, Dr. Morris has seen how the growing complexity of healthcare can leave patients and families overwhelmed and unsure about critical decisions. He co‑founded Advocate MDs to help bridge that gap—providing clarity, guidance, and physician‑level insight so families can feel confident their loved one is truly being looked after.
Dr. Mark Rubin is a board‑certified Anesthesiologist with subspecialty training in Pain Management and more than three decades of clinical experience. His background also includes work in Primary Care and Emergency Medicine, giving him a broad and practical understanding of patient care across multiple settings. Dr. Rubin has practiced in urban, suburban, and rural environments, which has given him a unique perspective on how the healthcare system functions—and where it often falls short for patients and their families. He received his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine., then completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Allegheny General Hospital/Medical College of Pennsylvania and a residency in Anesthesiology and Pain Management at Mount Sinai Hospital/Icahn School of Medicine in New York City. Throughout his career, Dr. Rubin has seen a consistent gap between patients, their families, and the complexity of modern healthcare. He co‑founded Advocate MDs to help bridge that gap—supporting families as they understand medical situations, make informed decisions, and feel confident that an experienced physician is looking out for their loved one.
